According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Department, someone entered the property of a Brewer resident and removed a John Deere Gator vehicle from the carport.
Once on the vehicle, they destroyed about $2,000 worth of property including a child’s wooden play set, landscaping and several pole lamps.
“The damage to the property appears to come from driving the Gator and striking the property,” stated the sheriff’s department.
Officers say the Gator was then placed back inside the carport area.
Anyone with information about this is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s Department at 662-680-5766.
