Unofficial winners in Aberdeen Democratic primary runoff

The ballots have been counted in Tuesday's Democratic primary runoff in Aberdeen.

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) — The ballots have been counted in Tuesday's Democratic primary runoff in Aberdeen.

Police Chief Henry Randle defeated Tony Tillman 928-718 to win another four-year term in office since he faces no opposition in the general election.

Nicholas Holliday won over Robert Devaull 177-140 in the contest for Ward One Alderman and takes the seat since he is without general election opposition as well.

Randle and Holliday will be sworn in July 7, the day of the general election.
