BILOXI, Miss. (WTVA) - Universal Music Group is building three hotels, one of which will be on the Mississippi Coast.
Universal Music Group operates iconic companies such as Abbey Road Studios, Capitol Records and Def Jam Recording.
The Group plans to transform the site of the Broadwater Resort in Biloxi.
It plans to build the other two hotels in Atlanta, Georgia, and Orlando, Florida.

Tate Reeves said. “The gaming industry has provided countless opportunities for good work in our state, and brought in a tremendous amount of revenue. It attracts visitors from all over the globe. Universal Music Group is a natural fit, considering the rich musical legacy of Mississippi and Biloxi in particular. This will be a great partnership that will provide a lot of fun and economic growth for the people of Mississippi.”
The Group will announce more details about the hotel’s development next week.
