WINSTON COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - Three men made their initial appearances in court Wednesday afternoon following the vandalism and burglary of a historic church.
The men are identified as Dylan Tabor, Jason Eaves and Austin Richardson.
They went before a judge together.
They will appear back in court in September to face two charges each of burglary and vandalism.
They are accused of vandalizing Sardis Church. Earlier this month, officials found overturned pews, bullet-ridden walls and beer cans, among other items.
The three are accused of causing more than $500 worth of damage to the church, according to the judge.
No bond was set for the trio. The judge says he wants the three to use bond money to pay back the church and not go into a bail bondsman's pocket.
