VERONA, Miss. (WTVA) - Verona police have a person in custody for questioning following a fatal shooting at a car wash.
The shooting happened on March 22 at the car wash near Wheel City on Raymone Avenue. Jazken Green, 26, was shot and later died.
After the shooting, Verona police identified a suspect as Jarnavis D. Chandler. However, Verona Police Chief J.B. Long says the person in custody is not Chandler. He is still wanted.
I’m also told - the person they have in custody is NOT Jarnavis Chandler, who is wanted in connection to that shooting. Chandler is considered armed and dangerous. | @wtva9news pic.twitter.com/q6XmllA6SS
