TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - A man reported missing has been found and is safe, but Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson says that man is in trouble with the law.
The sheriff says Glen Best, 29, is at his jail charged by Tupelo police with multiple offenses.
According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office website, Best was booked on charges of felony grand larceny and felony motor vehicle taking.
According to Tupelo police, Best was accused of borrowing a truck, trailer and lawnmower from his employer and not returning the items as agreed.
Warrants were issued by Tupelo police for motor vehicle theft and grand larceny. When he was located, Tupelo police warrants were served.
He was reported missing on Tuesday.
Best's roommate, family and employer had not seen him since Sunday. He worked as a landscaper and said he was going to finish a mowing job on Sunday, but never returned.
