STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) – The boil water notice for part of the Mississippi State University campus has been lifted.

This comes after the January 4 water main break near Dogwood and Deavenport halls on the Starkville campus.

Following the Friday repair, a boil water notice was issued for the two halls, as well as the university’s Montgomery Center for America’s Veterans at Nusz Hall.

The university’s Chief Communications Officer Sid Salter says water consumption and use is now safe in the buildings.
