ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) - Aberdeen water officials expect to have test results back Friday while the city remains under a boil water notice
Aberdeen Water Department Supervisor Jason Roberson says crews took 17 water samples on Monday and the same amount Wednesday.
He says they are required to take two consecutive days of samples and they couldn’t do so on Tuesday.
Roberson says they expect to have the results back Friday sometime near noon and the public should have an update by Friday evening.
The city was placed under the boil water notice this past weekend after water sampling showed the presence of Total Coliform and E. coli.
