CORINTH, Miss. (WTVA) – Corinth police have charged a local man for a double shooting earlier this week in Corinth.
Corinth Investigator Dell Green says the shooting happened on Wednesday, December 20 at 6:54 p.m. on Beechwood Circle.

He says three people were involved.
One man suffered a gunshot wound and is at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth in stable condition.
One woman suffered a gunshot wound and is at the Med in Memphis in critical but stable condition.
Police identify the suspect as 41-year-old Lamonte Hood. He's been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
Green says a handgun was used in the shooting.
The motive behind the shooting is still being investigated.
