UPDATE: Kosciusko shooting suspects now in custody

Two people are now in jail in connection to Monday's shooting in Kosciusko.

UPDATE: According to Kosciusko Police Chief Herbert Dew, both Antonio Winters and Styvekka Thompson were taken into custody Tuesday, March 20 sometime near 12:45 p.m.

They were arrested in Choctaw County by the U.S. Marshal's Task Force and the Choctaw County Sheriff's Department. Both are charged with aggravated assault. More charges are pending.

KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WTVA) - Kosciusko police need help searching for two people wanted after a shooting.

Police are looking for Antonio Winters and Styvekka Thompson.

Officers responded to a call Monday afternoon on North Natchez Street and Woodard Lane. A woman had been shot in the upper left arm.

Kosciusko Police Chief Herbert Dew says the victim was treated and released from a Jackson hospital.

Winters and Thompson were last seen heading north on North Natchez Street in a white Chevrolet Tahoe-type vehicle. Both are wanted for aggravated assault.

As of Tuesday, officers are still searching for the duo.
