Master Sgt. Criss Turnipseed with the Mississippi Highway Patrol released to WTVA 9 News the names of the three people injured in a crash in Monroe County Tuesday morning.
According to Turnipseed, Brandon Lee, 31, of Nettleton, was driving south in a truck when he crossed into the other lane, hitting a van head on.
Randy Howell, 59, of Nettleton, and Sandra Long, 53, of Jasper, Alabama, were inside the van. All three were taken to North Mississippi Medical Center.
Long was airlifted there by helicopter.
The conditions of the three involved are unknown at this time.
MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating a wreck after two cars crashed early Tuesday morning.
Troopers say Monroe County sheriff's deputies were the first to arrive at the scene of the accident off of Highway 371 and Old Highway 6.
MHP says two people were taken to the hospital. One person was taken by helicopter, the other was taken by ambulance.
