Two arrested in Tishomingo County drug case

Tishomingo County sheriff's deputies arrested two men charged with bringing drugs into a jail.

IUKA, Miss. (WTVA) - Tishomingo County sheriff's deputies arrested two men charged with bringing drugs into a jail.

Dustin Leatherwood, 21, of Corinth, was taken into custody Friday along with Kimg McGee, 38, of Booneville, during a traffic stop in Iuka.

Sheriff John Daugherty says one suspect tried throwing methamphetamine on the ground at the jail and the drug was found on his body there.

Daughterty adds the other suspect tried hiding marijuana in the jail.

Cash and two guns were seized during the arrests.
