TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo elementary school students plated daffodils in memory of their former classmate
Camden Blair, the victim of child abuse, died on Nov. 30 at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock.
Camden Blair was 6 years old.
The 6-year-old boy attended Parkway Elementary School, where his former principal, Carmen Gary, said his smile could light up a room.
The organization Keep Tupelo Beautiful donated the flowers in his memory.
The school will dedicate a plaque in Blair’s memory in January.
Tupelo Police charged Joshua Oakley, 29, of Tupelo, with capital murder in relation to the boy’s death.
According to Police, Oakley was in a relationship with the boy’s mother and was babysitting at the time of the injuries.
