Tupelo police look to locate suspected car thief

Tupelo police is asking for the public's help locating the person believed to be responsible for the theft of a vehicle.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo police is asking for the public's help locating the person believed to be responsible for the theft of a vehicle.


The theft allegedly happened in January. 

Tupelo police say Shavorra Osborne took possession of a vehicle for sale by a person in Tupelo for a short test drive. However, police say she did not return the vehicle.

The vehicle was later recovered by Booneville police with extensive damage.

She is described as a black female, 5'3" in height and weighs 198 pounds.
