Tupelo police investigating credit card fraud, auto burglaries

Police say someone stole credit cards from cars and used the cards fraudulently.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo police are asking for help locating the people responsible for car burglary and credit card fraud.

According to Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi, multiple vehicles were burglarized on Aug. 17.

The vehicles were located at a restaurant on North Gloster Street. Police did not identify the restaurant.

The burglars then used a victim’s debit/credit cards at a grocery store and a drug store.
