Police found the shooting victim in the parking lot of Danver's on Main Street.

Tupelo police responded to the parking lot of a popular restaurant where they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo police responded to the parking lot of a popular restaurant where they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police and firefighters responded to the parking lot of Danver’s at approximately 3 p.m. on Thursday.

Police found a black car there and the shooting victim.

The shooting happened at Central and Stone streets, according to police.

Police are searching for someone in connection to the case who is known by law enforcement.
