TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Two people are accused of stealing boots from a Tupelo store and breaking into a vehicle.

On Tuesday sometime near 4 p.m., Tupelo police were called to Tupelo Shoe and Boot Outlet for a shoplifting call and burglary of a vehicle call.
Police say a man and a woman stole two pairs of boots from the store and broke into a vehicle. The two were described as white adults, driving a white or silver Ford Sport Trac.
The following day sometime near 12:10 a.m., Tupelo police spotted a vehicle matching that description on North Gloster Street and McCullough Boulevard.
Police were able to stop the vehicle. The driver, William Smith, 49, of Ecru, was identified as a suspect in the earlier burglary.
Smith's passenger, Elizabeth Soto-Pickering, 37, of Tupelo, was also identified as a suspect in the same burglary.
Both were arrested. They both were charged with the breaking & entering of a vehicle. Their bonds were set at $10,000 each.
The case will be presented to a Lee County grand jury.
