TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo crews are working to help make traffic move smoother on Main Street.
Tupelo Water & Light crews began installing new equipment Monday on West Main Street.
By Tuesday morning, crews had begun work at the intersection of Saddle Creek Drive and West Main Street.
The upgrading of the signals means the traffic lights will be synchronized with timing patterns for various times of the day, as traffic fluctuates.
Once the signals are upgraded, traffic should move along smoothly and without delays. The project is expected to take a few weeks to complete.
