Tupelo Police still searching for man after bank robbery

The incident happened at the CB&S Bank on South Gloster Street.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Police are still searching for a man after a reported bank robbery in Tupelo.

Tupelo Police spokesman Capt. Charles McDougald said Thursday morning that police are still investigating the incident that happened at the CB&S Bank on South Gloster Street.

Shortly after the Wednesday afternoon incident, police provided images of the possible suspect.

They released similar images on Thursday morning.

Images from the bank’s surveillance cameras show a man wearing sunglasses, black clothing, gloves and a hat.

Another image shows the possible suspect’s car, a dark-colored Chevrolet.

Police have not said what exactly happened inside the bank, but they confirmed no injuries were reported.
