FULTON, Miss. (WTVA) - One person was killed in a morning crash in Itawamba County.
State troopers responded at 6:11 on Thursday, March 7, to the intersection of Highway 25 and Benson Jones Road.
Upon arrival, it appeared that Tony Wood, 62, of Meridan, was driving south on Highway 25 when he drove through the intersection and collided into an embankment.
Wood died at the scene of the accident from his injuries, according to Cpl. Jason Roe with the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
