OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WTVA) - A man accused of leading law enforcement on a chase through multiple counties with a child in the vehicle has been arrested, Mississippi Highway Patrol said.
Christopher Moore, 49, of Vaughn was stopped Sunday on Highway 82 near the Highway 398 exit in Oktibbeha County after not pulling over for a trooper in Lowndes County, Master Sgt. Criss Turnipseed said. Moore’s two-year-old daughter was in the vehicle during the chase. She was not injured.
Moore is charged with felony fleeing, reckless driving, speeding and child restraint violation, Turnipseed said. He was taken to the Lowndes County Detention Center.
