UPDATE: One Man Arrested in Trio Home Burglary

The public’s help is still needed identifying a man suspected of participating in the burglary of an Aberdeen home.

Tevin Hill, 27, was arrested during a traffic stop in West Point Friday morning.

According to Sheriff Cecile Cantrell, Hill confessed to burglarizing the home on Old Highway 25 with three other suspects.

Authorities are now searching for Carl Lance and Deanto Evans as well as two unidentified suspects.

At this time the stolen guns have not been recovered, but Sheriff Cantrell says they are close to finding them.

“We know they went to another county and we know what county and we are going to go down and talk to some people there," Said Sheriff Cantrell.

Sheriff Cantrell says they believe one female was involved with trying to pawn one of the stolen guns in West Point and she is now wanted by the department.

Anyone with information to where the stolen guns can be retrieved or who the other two unidentified suspects are is encouraged to call their local law enforcement.

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) - The public’s help is still needed identifying a man suspected of participating in the burglary of an Aberdeen home.

The burglary happened Wednesday sometime near noon at a residence on Old Highway 25 while the homeowner was away at work.

Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says three people broke into the residence. However, only the person shown in the picture is identifiable.

In total, 35 guns and other items were stolen.

Investigators believe the three people may be from Clay County.
