COLUMBUS, Miss. (WTVA) - Lowndes County investigators have charged five men in connection with a shooting that happened Nov. 19 at a home on Old West Point Road.
The shooting happened inside the home and wounded one person.
On Thursday, Dec. 3, investigators and U.S. Marshals arrested Mark Gann Jr., 34, in connection with the shooting. Officers arrested Gann in the parking lot of the Dollar General store on Military Road in Columbus.
Investigators previously arrested Kevin Parker, 37; Steven Carley, 34; John Reeves, 36, and Stephen James, 38, in late-November.
Parker and Carley face charges of attempted murder, conspiracy to commit a felony crime and felon in possession of a weapon.
Reeves and James face charges of conspiracy to commit murder.
Lowndes County investigators also charged Gann in connection with a burglary that happened Nov. 18 at a home on New Hope Road.
