AMORY, Miss. (WTVA) - Crews continue to search for the body of a missing Monroe County man, and investigators have arrested three suspects in connection with the man’s death.
Monroe County deputies responded the morning of Dec. 16 to a report of a vehicle fire on Levee Road along the Tombigbee Waterway near Amory.

The owner of the vehicle filed a missing person report for her brother, Jack Cowan, who had been driving the vehicle.
No one had reportedly seen or talked with him since the day before the fire.
Sheriff Kevin Crook said investigators have enough evidence to prove Cowan is dead.
Investigators arrested and charged three suspects in the investigation.
Both Tommy Randolph, 37, and Brian Hoover, 36, face charges of murder and arson. Hoover is from Tennessee.
The third suspect, 28-year-old Kayla Johns, faces accessory to murder. Johns is from the Lackey community of Monroe County.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, both Hoover and Randolph left a halfway house in Simpson County and traveled to Monroe County.
