GRENADA, Miss. (WTVA) --Three people face capital murder charges in the death of a Grenada County man whose body was found in a well Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff Alton Strider says Monique Lott, 31, Mark Lott, 32 and Marquize Tillmon, 27, are charged in connection with the death of Willie Hooper, 37.
Strider says Monique Lott was dating Hooper's former girlfriend and they shared a child.
The sheriff says it appears Hooper was shot and killed Sunday morning at a home in McCain Estates in Elliot.
Hooper had gone to the home to visit his ex-girlfriend according to Strider.
His body was dumped in the well on property owned by Lott's father and aunt in Montgomery County on Highway 404 West.
All three are charged with capital murder and currently are being held in the Grenada County jail with no bond.
