NASHVILLE (WTVA) - Tennessee’s governor announced the state’s first confirmed case of the coronavirus Thursday morning.
The patient is a 44-year-old man in Williamson County, WMC-TV in Memphis reported. Williamson County is located just south of Nashville.
The man is currently being quarantined in his home.
Authorities said the patient did not travel internationally, but he did travel within the country.
Doctors did not confirm where the patient specifically traveled.
