TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) – Three teenagers have been charged with burglary in Tupelo.
According to the Tupelo Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Joyner Street area on Friday, December 15 for a residential burglary report.
When officers arrived, they were able to detain and identify three boys. The investigation led officers to charge the teenagers with several counts of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling.
Police say reports of burglaries were taken from homes on Lee Street, Callaway Street, Joyner Avenue, West Jackson Street and Hamlin Avenue.
Several stolen items were recovered during this investigation. The names of the teenagers were not released by police due to their age.
The case will be adjudicated through Lee County Youth Court.
