Surveillance video shows school burglary in Prentiss County

The two burglars covered their faces.

The burglary happened late Friday night.

MARIETTA, Miss. (WTVA) - Investigators have received tips they believe to be credible as they try to find the burglars who stole items from Marietta School.

The burglary happened late Friday night.


Both burglars walked underneath the camera.

The burglars appear to be young, white males.

A surveillance camera captured the moment the two burglars entered a side door. They twisted another door’s handles with no luck.

The burglars then walked underneath the camera where it appears, they tilted the camera up and down. The camera was eventually removed off its mount.

Investigators said the burglars broke a ceiling light and kicked the gym’s doors open and broke into the concession stand.

The burglars appear to be young, white males. They had their heads and faces covered.

No arrests have been made yet.
