PHIL CAMPBELL, Ala. (WTVA) - An evening crash in west Alabama claimed the life of a 19-year-old man from Haleyville, Alabama.
The crash happened at 7:49 p.m. Sunday.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Andrew York was driving northbound on Highway 237 and lost control of his car a few miles south of Phil Campbell.
He was not wearing a seatbelt and died on the scene, according to ALEA.
York had a juvenile passenger who was not injured in the crash.
The crash happened in Franklin County, Alabama, which borders Itawamba and Tishomingo counties in Mississippi.
