JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) - The Mississippi Supreme Court has denied a request to rehear the appeal in a Montgomery County capital murder case.
Curtis Flowers, 47, is on death row in the shooting deaths of four people at Tardy Furniture Store in Winona in 1996.
Bertha Tardy, Robert Golden, Carmen Rigby and Derrick Stewart were found dead inside the store. All had been shot in the head.
Flowers has been tried six times because of hung juries or convictions overturned on appeal.
In his latest appeal, he is challenging the jury selection process and why some members of the jury pool were excused from serving.
The Mississippi Supreme Court had previously denied his appeal and refused to revisit the case Thursday.
