JACKSON, Miss. (WTVA) The Mississippi Department of Education announced plans to hire instructional coaches to help school districts better utilize the new digital educational technology.
The MDE will partner with the North Mississippi Education Consortium to hire a state coordinator and around two dozen instructional coaches.
The coaches will assist teachers to improve virtual learning in schools and districts statewide.
The coaching positions are part of MDE's Mississippi Connects initiative which provides computers and learning support to every public school student in the state.
