Starkville police make two assault arrests

Starkville police have made two arrests for two unrelated incidents.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Starkville police have made two arrests for two unrelated incidents.

Police arrested Toforrest Robinson, 34, and charged him with aggravated assault.

According to the Starkville Police Department, officers responded Wednesday to a reported disturbance on Lynn Lane.

Robinson is accused of physically striking another person with a gun. He also allegedly fired a round.

In an unrelated case, Starkville police and U.S. Marshals arrested Jeremiah Henderson, 23, of Starkville.

He was served a warrant for domestic violence-aggravated assault.

The warrant is in relation to an incident that happened at the Brookville Garden Apartments on March 3, according to police.
