STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) - Starkville police have arrested a man in connection to two separate armed robbery incidents.
According to police, officers were dispatched to The Block Townhomes on Sunday around 3 a.m. to a report "of an individual attempting to open car doors."

After a short foot chase, officers arrested Corey Lewis, 24, of Clarksdale. He was initially charged with two counts of auto burglary.
Through further investigation, officers were able to connect Lewis to two separate armed robbery incidents.
According to police, the first incident happened at Ruby's Beer and Tobacco off Highway 12 East on May 19.
The second incident happened behind Dollar General on Highway 12 East on June 18.
It was there that Lewis "reportedly robbed a delivery truck driver that was parked" behind the building.
Lewis has also been charged with two counts of armed robbery.
