STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — Non essential businesses can now open for curbside orders or delivery.
One local spa manager said employees are already prepared to sell products.
Amber Norman is an aesthetician and the spa manager of the Vitality Skin and Spa in Starkville.
She said since the coronavirus pandemic began she had to stop in-person facial services with her clients.
Norman said she had to send all of her employees home once Governor Tate Reeves ordered all non essential businesses to close.
“It was very sad. Even though we understand what’s going on around us, you never ever want to tell someone that they can’t work when they want to work,” she said.
Workers are now preparing for a high demand of product orders next week.
Norman said workers will accept and ship out orders every Tuesday and Thursday.
Customers have the option to call in orders and pick them up or choose delivery.
Norman will hold a virtual show on Tuesday about the Skin Better skin care line. Clients can sign up for the show for fee and watch it on her instagram.
She added that if the shelter in place order is extended for a few more weeks, she will offer virtual consults.
