TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Huddle House and the Neon Pig are selling grocery items to help with loss of sales.
Kimberly Bennett, the general manager of Huddle House restaurants in Mississippi, said the corporate office created the market out of necessity since sales have been down.
A lot of the items they sell are staple items many grocery stores are low on. You can call Huddle House to order groceries and you can come to the store and pick up the items.
The Neon Pig is still selling cut meat, along with seafood, fresh produce and casseroles.
Brooke Ramsey, the assistant manager at Neon Pig said, "It's a percentage of it; we are working towards it. Every day we are coming up with new stuff that will sell."
You can also still order food and pick it up curbside.
