TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Tupelo police responded to a shots fired call Wednesday night at the North Gloster Street Walmart.

Captain Chuck McDougald with the Tupelo Police Department says officers were called to the area at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Witnesses told police that some type of dispute had occurred between the occupants of a blue Dodge Stratus and white Chevrolet Tahoe.

Police say the driver of the Tahoe fired shots at the Stratus.

Officers were not able to locate either a victim or suspect on the scene.

"I just hope they apprehend them and get them off the street because if they keep doing this, they’re going to hurt somebody," said Leroy Williams, Jr., a Shannon resident who visits the store often.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-773-8477.
