CARROLLTON, Ala. (WTVA) - U.S. Marshals arrested a man sought in connection with a recent shooting in Fayette County, Alabama.
According to District Attorney Andy Hamlin, Marshals arrested Ruben Hedgemon, 21, in Tuscaloosa on Thursday
Investigators say Hedgemon opened fire as he left a party on New Hope Road on Sept. 26.
New Hope Road is in southern Fayette County, along the Tuscaloosa County border.
Gunfire wounded an individual, and medics transported the victim to a hospital in Tuscaloosa for serious injuries.
Investigators charged Hedgemon with attempted murder.
