WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) - An investigation is underway into a shooting that happened during the weekend at a business in West Point.
According to the West Point Police Department, police officers responded shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday to a disturbance report at Jalyn's Bar and Grill.

The police chief said the disturbance was a fight that broke out between two men. The fight continued outside, and ultimately turned into a shooting in the rear parking area.
The shooting wounded a woman in her hand. Police said she was a bystander who was not involved. She was treated for her injuries at a local hospital and released.
Surrounding businesses received damage, police said.
Police are searching for an unnamed black man who wore a blue hat and a black T-shirt. Police did not provide any further description.
