SHANNON, Miss. (WTVA) - A local man faces drug charges in Shannon.
On October 2, Shannon police made a traffic stop and found marijuana, cocaine, scales and $640 in cash.
The driver, Michael P. Palmer, 44, of Shannon, was arrested and charged with two felony counts of possession of scheduled drugs with intent. The charges were enhanced because he pulled his vehicle into a church parking lot, police said.
His bond was set at $15,000.
