WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) - More sewer repairs are planned to begin around the city of West Point, according to Mayor Robbie Robinson and West Point Water and Light general manager Randy Jones.
They will identify bad spots and either reline them or replace them with another sewer pipe.
Robinson said they expect to begin repairs in the next year, starting in the eastern border of West Point and going south towards the lagoon.
He said the projected costs for repairs in the first phase is $1 million.
It will be funded by a combination of grant and emergency money.
