Several injuries in Webster County house fire

A mobile home fire Thursday night injures three and leaves a family without a place to live.

EUPORA, Miss. (WTVA) - A mobile home fire Thursday night injures three and leaves a family without a place to live.


Webster County EMA Director and Eupora Fire Coordinator Barry Rushing says the fire happened at a mobile home at 1595 Wright Road.

Three people were in the mobile home when the fire erupted.

"They were cooking in the kitchen and it caught on fire," Rushing says.

The three residents had to seek medical condition: one for smoke enhalation. The other person had burns to the face and arm.. The third person had burns to just the face.

Rushing says the three residents were transported to the Webster County Hospital.

He also says the fire started at the family's trailer and went all the way to their camper.

The home is considered a total loss.
