NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WTVA) - The search continues for 28-year-old Jessica Stacks who disappeared in Union County on New Year’s Day.
Union County Sheriff Jimmy Edwards said Stacks was on a boat with another person on the Tallahatchie River just before she disappeared.

The pair were searching for a pig.
Both she and the other person got out of the boat at some point.
Investigators found footprints.
The sheriff said investigators have found no evidence of foul play in her disappearance.
Investigators continue to follow leads and conduct interviews, the sheriff said.
Stacks' mother, Cathy Story of Nettleton, believes there is more to her daughter's disappearance than what has previously been reported.
Edwards said despite rumors, he understands the family's concern and wants peace for Stacks' family.
