HAMILTON, Miss. (WTVA) - The search for the body of a 39-year-old man came to an end Wednesday in Monroe County.
The body of Jack Cowan was found Wednesday at Cedar Grove Cemetery in the Hamilton area, the Monroe County Journal reported Wednesday night.

Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley confirmed the same information to WTVA.
Sheriff Kevin Crook told the newspaper the body was not buried in a grave but buried on the edge of the cemetery.
The sheriff told WTVA the discovery happened in the evening.
An autopsy will be performed.
On the morning of Dec. 16, 2020, deputies responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Levee Road along the Tombigbee Waterway near Amory.
The owner of the vehicle filed a missing person report for her brother, Cowan, who had been driving the vehicle.
Crook said investigators had enough evidence to prove Cowan’s death, and investigators continued to search for his body.
Investigators initially arrested and charged three suspects in the investigation.
