TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Workers and volunteers at the Salvation Army in Tupelo are starting to put together their annual Thanksgiving meal.
The nonprofit still needs help from volunteers to help package Thanksgiving meals.
Anyone wanting to help should call the Tupelo location in advance of Thanksgiving.
"We do have just a limited number of positions that we have in the building because of social distancing," Maj. Whitney Morton said.
The Salvation Army will not have dine-in service this year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Also, volunteers won't serve homemade desserts. They will bring the plates to attendees’ cars.
The Tupelo location is at 527 Carnation St.
