TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - The remolded buildings at the Tupelo Salvation Army are almost ready to open their doors to the needy in the area.
Many of the Salvation Army’s abilities have been limited due to the three-month renovation that has been underway.
The renovation includes a new office, a new kitchen and a remodeled dining area.
The cooling stations will also be open due to the continuous heat.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.
