SALTILLO, Miss. (WTVA) - Police in Saltillo are trying to raise money to help people on Thanksgiving.

The police department will host its first ever GIVE campaign, which is aimed at not only assisting the less fortunate but performing random acts of kindness.

Officers plan to be at the Fred's store Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. to accept $20 donations for Thanksgiving baskets already assembled.
