STARKVILLE, Miss. (WTVA) — One nail salon owner faces a permanent closure of his business even after the coronavirus pandemic is over.
Belle’s Nail Bar owner Aaron Weiss said the financial strain on his business may cause the temporary closure of his salon to become permanent.
Weiss owned Belle’s Nail Bar for 5 years in the corner of the Cotton Crossing shopping center.
He said he employs 14 people at his salon and they served almost 100 customers a day before the pandemic.
Weiss said once he closed down to comply with Governor Tate Reeves executive order.
He also applied for the Payment Protection Program (PPP) loan.
However, he has not received any assistance yet.
