ABERDEEN, Miss. (WTVA) - The sale of the former Holley Performance Products building in Aberdeen could mean more jobs in Monroe County.
Bradbury Logistics and Services has made a bid for $75,000.
The building is jointly owned by the city and the county.
City Attorney Robert Faulks said the city made a counter proposal that Bradbury would need to employ 150 people within the next two years.
The city also asked the company for a commitment to invest $1 million into repairs of the property and new equipment for the project.
The county would also have to agree to the counter proposal as a co-owner.
There is now word on when this deal will be finalized.
