PONTOTOC, Miss. (WTVA) - Residents in one Pontotoc County neighborhood are still shaken up following a Monday shooting on their road.
A woman who did not want to be identified is scared to come out of her home.
"We've always been able to walk down the street and in our yards and feel safe. But, now that this has happened so close to home, it's rather scary," the woman said.

Sheriff's investigators said one man was shot twice in an exchange of gunfire at a home on Wilson Chapel Road. First responders took him to the hospital in Tupelo.
Deputies recovered a weapon near the home. Family members said the man is still recovering at the hospital.
