Red Bay police seek public's help in hit-and-run

The Red Bay Police Cepartment is asking for the public’s assistance with an investigation into a possible hit-and-run fatality that occurred Friday night.

RED BAY, Ala. (WTVA) - The Red Bay Police Cepartment is asking for the public’s assistance with an investigation into a possible hit-and-run fatality that occurred Friday night.

Chief Janna Jackson says it happened around 10:15 p.m.

A man, identified as Ramzy Ali Ahmed Alharazy, was riding his bike down Alabama State Highway 19.

Jackson says it appears he was struck by a motor vehicle, but they are waiting on an autopsy report.

Red Bay police say anyone with information is asked to call 256-356-4455.
